When to Report
If you encounter content or behavior that violates Fictionry's guidelines, please report it. You should report:
- Stories or chapters with incorrect content ratings
- Content that violates our prohibited content rules
- Harassment in comments
- Spam or promotional content
- Plagiarized stories
- Impersonation of other authors
How to Report
Reporting is easy and anonymous — the reported user won't know who filed the report.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on any story, chapter, or comment
- Select "Report"
- Choose the reason that best fits the issue
- Add any additional context in the description field
- Submit the report
For issues that don't fit neatly into a report category (like DMCA claims or complex harassment situations), you can submit a support ticket from your account settings.

What Happens After
Our moderation team reviews every report, typically within 24-48 hours. Here's what to expect:
- Review — A moderator evaluates the reported content against our guidelines
- Action — If the report is valid, appropriate action is taken (warning, content removal, or account suspension depending on severity)
- Notification — You'll receive a notification that your report was reviewed, though we can't share specific actions taken for privacy reasons
False reports or weaponizing the report system against authors you disagree with is itself a violation of our community guidelines.
