How to report content violations, harassment, or technical issues on Fictionry.

When to Report

If you encounter content or behavior that violates Fictionry's guidelines, please report it. You should report:

  • Stories or chapters with incorrect content ratings
  • Content that violates our prohibited content rules
  • Harassment in comments
  • Spam or promotional content
  • Plagiarized stories
  • Impersonation of other authors

How to Report

Reporting is easy and anonymous — the reported user won't know who filed the report.

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on any story, chapter, or comment
  2. Select "Report"
  3. Choose the reason that best fits the issue
  4. Add any additional context in the description field
  5. Submit the report

For issues that don't fit neatly into a report category (like DMCA claims or complex harassment situations), you can submit a support ticket from your account settings.

What Happens After

Our moderation team reviews every report, typically within 24-48 hours. Here's what to expect:

  • Review — A moderator evaluates the reported content against our guidelines
  • Action — If the report is valid, appropriate action is taken (warning, content removal, or account suspension depending on severity)
  • Notification — You'll receive a notification that your report was reviewed, though we can't share specific actions taken for privacy reasons

False reports or weaponizing the report system against authors you disagree with is itself a violation of our community guidelines.
